Passenger Vehicle sales up by 14.59% in December 2020New Delhi: December 2020 brought some cheer to the carmakers as the passenger auto section posted a double-digit expansion of 13.59% at two,52,998 models in comparison to two,22,728 models in the same month previous calendar year, according to the numbers shared by Modern society of Indian Automobile Producers (SIAM)

It is to be mentioned that there is the low foundation impact of previous calendar year as most of the automakers were being manufacturing less and minimizing stock at dealerships to transit to BS-VI norms.

SIAM figures confirmed that the contraction in profits for the duration of December was majorly for a few-wheelers which saw a decrease of fifty eight.87% to 22,126 models.
